In these screenshots, we’ll assume that YOU are a customer that is using WHMCS with their hosting provider who is also using our WHMCS plugin.

  • Simply login to your WHMCS panel.

  • Hover your mouse over the Services tab on the top left of the screen.
  • Click on "Order New Services"

ThreeSelect your SSL Certificate

  • Here you will see the available SSL certificates for purchase, select the one you need.
  • In this case, we have selected the Comodo Positive SSL.
  • Click on “Order Now”

  • Select the number of years you would like the certificate to  be active for, in this case, we have selected 1.
  • Double-check all of your order details, then click "Checkout".

  • Confirm that all of your customer details are correct on this page.
  • Then click on “Complete O rder” at the bottom of the screen.

Retrieve your Token Code & Token ID

SixRetrieve your Token Code & Token ID

  • The Token Code and Token ID are unique identifying numbers come with your certificate.
  • These numbers are used during the AutoInstall SSL™ process to identify the specific certificate you need to install.
  • After you purchase your certificate through WHMCS, you will be sent an automated email, which will have the Token Code & Token ID inside.
  • You can also find your Token Code & Token ID inside of your WHMCS portal.
  • Simply go back to the "Services" tab and click on "My Orders".
  • Then, locate the certificate you are looking for and click on the "View Details" button on the right of the screen.
  • The Token Code & Token ID will be listed at the bottom of the page.

  • Now that you have the Token Code & Token ID handy,  login to you cPanel (or Plesk).
  • Click on the AutoInstall SSL™ icon under the Security tab.

EightVerify your Tokens

  • Enter your Token Code & Token ID on the next page. Make sure to copy and paste the numbers in their proper fields.
  • Then, select the webspace for the SSL certificate and click “Verify Token.”

  • On the next screen, enter your CSR Details, and Admin and Technical contact information.
  • There is a box to check if the Admin and Technical contact information is the same.

  • Next, click on “Activate & Install SSL Certificate”

TenWatch the Magic Unfold

  • This will start the AUTOMATIC installation process of your SSL certificate. You will be given real-time updates once each step is complete, and if an error should occur, the process will be paused and you’ll be directed to the issue.
  • Once the certificate has been installed, you will be able to view it live on your site.
  • That's it! You now have an active SSL certificate on your website without all of the hassles and aggravation of typical SSL installation
